Back4Blood: What you need to know

As per the trailer, the next-gen zombie game will be coming our way on 22 June 2021. If you’re been waiting for Left 4 Dead 3, then Back4Blood is just the game for you.

Because Back4Blood is pretty much Left 4 Dead 3... According to the game’s official website, it’s a “thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise”.

Plot

The developers explain that “you are at the centre of a war against the Ridden”, and that “these once-human hosts of a deadly parasite have turned into terrifying creatures”.

They are bent on devouring what remains of civilisation.

“With humanity’s extinction on the line, it’s up to you and your friends to take the fight to the enemy, eradicate the Ridden, and reclaim the world”.

We’ll know more about the next-gen game on 17 December, during the official scheduled live stream. Find more Game Awards 2020 updates here.
