1.Yellow level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with potential for localized flooding and damaging winds can occur in morning over eastern parts of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine at first, otherwise partly cloudy.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy with scattered scattered showers and thundershowers in the east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated morning
thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Cloudy with scattered showers and thundershowers in the Lowveld at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated morning
thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the central parts and eastern parts, otherwise fine and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the extreme south.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-westerly, becoming light to moderate westerly to south-westerly from the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm, with isolated showers and rain, but scattered in the south-west. It will be partly cloudy in the northeast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but cool along the coast, with showers south of Darlington Dam.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Party cloudy and warm with light showers south of Mthatha from late afternoon.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm. It will become cloudy in the south towards evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, but light to moderate southerly in the south spreading north.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
