Crumbed Beef Schnitzels – The perfect crowd-pleaser

Crispy crust with tender beef inside, that is the wonder of this crumbed beef schnitzels recipe. This meal is a definite crowd-pleaser and will make everyone around the dinner table smile.

Preparing crumbed beef schnitzels are quick and easy but there are some important tips to keep in mind to get them to taste like restaurant food, or even better! Make sure you use thinly sliced beef cuts for schnitzels. You can also use a meat tenderiser to make the beef extra soft before starting the cooking process.

After coating the schnitzels with the crumbed mixture, you can place them in the fridge for 10 minutes to ensure the crumbed coating sticks to the beef.

When frying the beef schnitzels, it is important that the oil is hot enough. This will ensure the crumbs do not get soggy with oil. If the oil cools down during the cooking process, reheat the oil for the best results. However, if the oil starts smoking, turn down the heat without delay. The last great tip is to fry these tasty schnitzels in batches; it’s best not to overcrowd the pan.

Enjoy crumbed beef schnitzels with creamy, garlic mashed potatoes and peas and crispy carrots.
