Police in the Northern Cape has launched an intensive manhunt, after several suspects carried out a farm attack in Hartswater. The residents at the property, including a couple aged 83 and 79 along with their 50-year-old daughter, went missing on Sunday and two of them still haven’t been found.

Family ‘abducted’ by violent criminals
However, reports claim that one body has been discovered in connection with this farm attack – information that was confirmed to us just moments ago. The abduction saw both cars at the property stolen.
Eventually, one of the vehicles was abandoned 20 miles away from the scene of the crime in North West – an issue itself which raises concerns, given that inter-provincial travel is officially banned at lockdown Level 3.
It’s understood that traces of blood were found at the ransacked farmstead when investigating officers turned up at the property on Monday. The missing persons were named as Dan, Breggie and Elzabie Brand.
