Los Angeles Sevens
South Africa will meet hosts USA in the quarterfinals after a near-perfect start to their Los Angeles Sevens campaign.
The Blitzboks beat Kenya 31-5 in their opening match before thumping Canada 33-5.
Their final Pool B match yielded a disappointing result, as they were held to a 19-all draw by Ireland.
The quarterfinal takes place at 20:49 (SAST).
PSL fixtures
Polokwane City vs Black Leopards at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, Kick-off at 15:30
There’s two more PSL fixtures scheduled for the day, with the Limpopo derby between Polokwane City and Black Leopards set to draw interest.
The two rivals are in a relegation battle, as they are tied at 20 points for the season at 15th and 14th place respectively.
They meet with the hosts on a bit of a high after beating Cape Town City in their last outing.
Bloemfontein Celtic vs Baroka at Dr Molemela Stadium, Kick-off at 15:30
The day’s other game sees Bloemfontein Celtic taking on Baroka at Dr Molemela Stadium.
The hosts are looking to claw their way back to a coveted top-eight spot after dropping down to tenth spot. Baroka, on the other hand, are in 13th place, and are one of four teams tied at 20 points – a list which includes bottom feeders, AmaZulu.

South Africa are through to the semifinals after edging Pakistan on Sunday morning. The Proteas Women batted first and posted 136 in their innings, with Laura Wolvaardt top-scoring with an unbeaten 53 off 36 balls. Pakistan’s reply saw themm fall 17-runs short of the target.
