AmaZulu vs Maritzburg United: Prediction, scores, kick-off time and head-to-head
Struggling AmaZulu seek to put some breathing space between themselves and bottom spot in the Premiership when they host Maritzburg United on Sunday afternoon.
Usuthu were beginning to find their way out of trouble until recently, with the prolific Bongi Ntuli doing the business for them in front of goal. After two straight defeats, Usuthu are 15th and only a point above Chippa United.
Coach Jozef Vukušič has remained positive in his public statements.
“I am not worried about the situation that we find ourselves in on the log‚” said the Eminem-lookalike after Usuthu’s 1-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in midweek.
“What makes me positive is the performance of the players in the second half against a strong team like Sundowns because we showed that we can play football.
“We must move forward now because we have tough games coming against tough opponents.”
Maritzburg United lost 2-0 to SuperSport United in their last game, but this was their first defeat in nine in all competitions.
