Xhosa songtress Amanda Black has had the whole nation under the spell of her angelic voice since the release of her much-anticipated album Power.

It's safe to say that the songstress, whose journey in the music industry hasn't been without hurdles, is now living in the harvest season of her perseverance and determination. We stan Queen, we stan!

In an exclusive interview with ZAlebs, Amanda expressed that Power is about a lot of people's stories. "There's a song for everybody in terms of the different stages we go through in life. It's a journey. There are songs about feeling low, low, low and there are songs about rising and getting up," she said.

The songstress also has amazing collaborations on the album, among the likes of Ami Faku,  Soweto Gospel Choir and Anthony Hamilton! Incredible!

Indeed a lot of people have been moved by the Power in Amanda's new album.
