Temperature and UBV forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Morning drizzle in places, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon showers in the south.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool with morning drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in the south.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the southwest.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Cloudy, windy and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon, with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy, windy and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy from the west by the evening, with scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the coast, otherwise cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers over the southern parts. It will become partly cloudy from the afternoon from the north.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool with morning isolated showers in places. Afternoon isolated thundershowers are possible along the south coast and adjacent interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to northwesterly, becoming south-westerly along the south coast from the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm but cool along the coast with isolated showers and thundershowers from the morning.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south westerly.

The Eastern half Temperature: Cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thunderstorms.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be fight north easterly becoming moderate to fresh south westerly by afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but warm in places over the interior. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong at times.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
