FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the southern parts of Gauteng, south-western parts of Limpopo, the northern parts of the Free State, North West and the extreme north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy, windy and warm with isolated thundershowers in the south.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy from the afternoon. Isolated evening thundershowers are expected in the Highveld and southern escarpment areas.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but partly cloudy in the Western Bushveld.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy, windy and warm, becoming fine from the afternoon.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy, windy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the south-west but scattered in the central and eastern parts.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy in the west and south in the morning where it will be cold, otherwise fine and cool.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light southerly, becoming fresh to strong from the afternoon.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with morning rain in the south-west, spreading along the south coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon and clearing towards the evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly becoming fresh to strong south-westerly between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas from late morning, spreading along the south coast from the afternoon while moderating along the south-west coast.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain along the south coast and adjacent interior but partly cloudy in the north.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong to near gale south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly in the morning, otherwise fresh to strong south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy to cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the extreme north. It will be cool in the south-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly in the north otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly, spreading northwards in the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
