Ronaldo has built a good relationship with Brazilian icon Pele who has said previously that Ronaldo is a better player than PSG’s Argentine star Lionel Messi.

Pele, now 80, responded to a post Ronaldo had uploaded to his Instagram account after his Manchester United signing.

“There is no better feeling than conquering the world and returning home. Always be happy, Cristiano,” Pele wrote.

Ronaldo later responded: “It’s always great to come back to a home where we’ve already been happy… Thank you very much for your support, Pele.”
