TTM back in GladAfrica Championship after purchasing Royal AM’s status!
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have made a shock return to the South African Football by acquiring Royal AM’s status.
Rumours of TTM’s possible return to professional football surfaced on Friday, 13 August 2021, just a few months after selling their PSL status to Marumo Gallants.
And they went for Royal AM’s status because Shauwn Mkhize, popularly known as MaMkhize, is reported to be close to purchasing Bloemfontein Celtic in the PSL.
TTM confirmed the news of their return to football in a statement on Saturday morning.
“We are delighted to announce that Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club has as of 13 August 2021 acquired the status of Royal AM in the GladAfrica Championship,” reads the statement.
“Thus, Royal AM Football Club will change its name to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club and relocate to Thohoyandou Stadium,” added the statement.
