Royal AM close to buying Bloemfontein Celtic’s top-flight status
Royal AM have confirmed that they are in the process of buying the DStv Premiership status of Bloemfontein Celtic.

Royal AM communications manager Sthembiso Hlongwane told TimesLIVE on Saturday that there were a few things to be sorted out before the deal coan be concluded.
Any deal would still need to be approved by the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Hlongwane said negotiations were at an advanced stage between Bloemfontein Celtic owner Max Tshabalala and his Royal AM counterpart, businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize.
The Royal’s GladAfrica Championship status would be sold to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC (TTM), according to Hlongwane.
“Yes the deal has gone through. We’re just finalising all the relevant documents,” Hlongwane said.
“But it’s just unfortunate it reached the media before it reached all the relevant stakeholders, including the players particularly. The well-being of the players is very important.”
