Kambole is transfer-listed following what has been a frustrating two-year period at Chiefs where he’s managed just a single goal in 40 matches.

Asked what the situation with Kambole is now that the transfer window is closing next week, Baxter said he’d prefer to talk about those who played against TS Galaxy on Sunday.

However, he suggested that Kambole’s situation hasn’t changed, meaning the club is still willing to entertain offers for the Zambian striker.

Baxter further revealed that Chiefs will make an assessment of their transfer dealings after the window has slammed shut on August 31.

“I prefer to talk about the players that were on the field,” Baxter told reporters.

“You know the situation with our transfer-listed players. That doesn’t change overnight. The transfer window is going to come and go and we can get an offer for players that are not on the transfer list.

“So, the transfer window will come and go and we will see after that if we have lost anything or if we need anything,” he said.

“I would rather speak about the players that actually played,” added Baxter.
