It feels like a lifetime ago that the little-known 69-year-old Belgian took over as Bafana Bafana coach from Molefi Ntseki.

Broos is yet to officially take charge of a Bafana Bafana match having spent the vast majority of his time at the helm back in his homeland having Covid-19 vaccinations.

According to reports, he’s yet to receive a cent for his time in ‘charge’.

Broos was spotted in the stands watching Sunday’s MTN8 quarter-final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.

He appeared to be taking notes in preparation for Bafana Bafana’s next match.
