SA golfer shoots 56 at Potchefstroom CC – here’s the scorecard to prove it!
Rising South African star Christiaan Burke signed for an incredible 16-under-par round of 56 at the par-72 Potchefstroom CC layout during a medal round on Saturday.

It goes without saying the round was a new course record.
Burke, starting on the first hole, had four birdies and three eagles on the front side for an incredible 10-under par 26.
On the back nine he added a further four birdies and an eagle for a closing 30 which added up to the scarcely believable final score of just 56.
Playing off a +8 handicap (which means he had to ADD eight shots onto his score) his 56+8=64 day amounted to something the rest of us mere mortals could only dream of.
