    • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

    • 1 small onion, finely chopped

    • 1 egg

    • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

    • 1/2 tsp salt

    • 1/4 tsp pepper

    • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

    • 2 cups pasta sauce, see recipe below or use your favourite ready made pasta sauce.

    • INGREDIENTS – PASTA SAUCE
    • 1 onion, chopped

    • 1 tsp garlic

    • 1 can tomato paste

    • 2 cans tinned tomato

    • 1 tsp Italian herbs

    • 2 tsp salt

    • 1 tbsp sugar

    • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

    • fresh basil

    • salt and pepper to taste

    Method

    • In a small bowl, stir bread crumbs with milk until evenly combined. Let sit 10 minutes, or while you prep other ingredients.
    • In a large bowl, use your hands to combine beef, onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper, then gently stir in bread crumb mixture, egg, Parmesan, and parsley until just combined. Form into golf size balls.
    • In a large frying pan, heat the oil. Working in batches, sear meatballs on all sides to develop a crust.
    • Once the meatballs are cooked, remove from the pan and then make your sauce. If you are using ready made sauce, heat the sauce in a pan and add meatballs.
    • METHOD – PASTA SAUCE
    • In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute onion and garlic in olive oil until onion is translucent.
    • Stir in tomatoes, salt, sugar and herbs.
    • Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in tomato paste, basil, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
    • Add meatballs to your sauce and simmer 10 minutes more. Serve with your favourite pasta.
