Orlando Pirates to play in MINT-coloured kit next season – FIRST PICTURES!
Orlando Pirates have unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2021/22 season as vintage meets modern for the new designs.

The home kit remains traditional with the black classic colours, but the embossed skull imprinted on the jersey provides a unique feel to the latest strip.
However, the away jersey has undergone a radical new design.

A more creative element with a bold mint colour was opted for, which breaks with tradition once again following last season’s orange design.
“Orlando Pirates is a unique team with a unique history in South African football,” the club’s media officer Thandi Merafe said via the Orlando Pirates official website.

“We wanted to keep the design of this season’s kit simple, but bold enough to reflect the expectation of the Club for the coming season, and that is to win. We want to give our players and supporters a sense of pride when they put on this season’s jersey.
The new home kit will be worn for the first time in the Carling Black Label Cup for the season curtain-raiser on 1 August, but is already available for purchase to fans at R799.
