Kaizer Chiefs latest | Majority of CAFCL teams undermined us – Zuma
Dumisani Zuma will not be available for selection when Kaizer Chiefs take on Al Ahly in what will be one of the club’s biggest matches to date.

However, he is behind his Chiefs teammates heading into the encounter at Stade Mohammed V in Morocco this weekend.
The two teams – Chiefs and Ahly – will meet in the CAF Champions League final on 17 July, and this will mark their first meeting in 20 years.

Now, Zuma, who is only expected to return from injury in September, has conceded that none of their CAF Champions League games has been easy.
And he believes that the majority of their opponents undermined Chiefs, which Zuma feels worked for them in reaching the CAF Champions League final.

“There has not been a game that you can say has been easy. Most of the teams we played against, somehow undermined us,” Zuma told the Chiefs media team
“But, we, as Kaizer Chiefs, players and staff, we knew how capable we are. That motivated us a lot, that we would give 100 percent in every game we played,” he said.

“We had that thing that in every game, win or lose, we would give 100 percent. So, I am happy that we are at this stage… in the final,” continued Zuma.
Furthermore, Zuma said Chiefs knew they were good enough to compete at this level having played together for years and coming short of winning the league last season.

“To tell you the truth, it was not easy. There was a lot of pressure, but we knew that this is team almost won the league.
“We knew we were good enough to do anything because it’s the same team that almost won the league,” concluded Zuma.
