Richards Bay hand coaching duties to Allan Freese

Richards Bay have appointed Allan Freese as their new head coach ahead of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) promotion/relegation playoffs.

The GladAfrica Championship club sacked Simo Dladla prior to the end of the recently completed season in which they finished third.

Sekhukhune United were crowned league champions, leaving Royal AM and Chippa United to compete with Richards Bay for a spot in next season’s top flight.

A statement on the club’s social media pages read: “Richards Bay Football Club would like to confirm the appointment of Allan Freese as the new head coach.

“Freese will be joined by Sifiso ‘Pitso’ Dladla as the first assistant coach and Sbusiso Msomi as the second assistant coach.”
