Pitso Mosimane not thinking about potential Kaizer Chiefs vs Al Ahly final
Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane is on the brink of yet another CAF Champions League final but that’s not in his mind at this point.

And that’s because Al Ahly hold a 1-0 lead over Esperance de Tunis going into the return leg of the semi-final on Saturday.
Asked if he’s already thinking of the possibility of facing Kaizer Chiefs in the final, Mosimane said he will cross that bridge when Al Ahly get there.

Like Al Ahly, Chiefs hold a 1-0 advantage over Wydad Casablanca from the first leg of the semi-finals, and chances are that the two teams will meet for the first time in two decades.
“We will cross the bridge when we get there,” Mosimane told local media.

“We can’t talk about the final. The biggest mistake for the coach is to talk about the final while they have a semi-final ahead of them,” said Mosimane.
“The return leg, of course, with a goal advantage for us,” he added.

Al Ahly are the defending champions, and this would be their 10th CAF Champions League title IF they go on to win it.

In addition, it would be Mosimane’s third CAF Champions League title having won it with Al Ahly last year year, and with Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016.
