Keagan Dolly is a wanted man – in Egypt and South Africa

Montpellier and Bafana Bafana star Keagan Dolly is reportedly a wanted man by both Egypt’s Al Ahly and his former South African club Mamelodi Sundowns.

After having spent the majority of his career in South Africa playing for Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns, Dolly moved to Europe in 2017.

The now 28-year-old signed for Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier, but a series of injuries prevented him from fulfilling his true potential.

In four years he’s made just 64 appearances, scoring a single goal and providing three assists across all competitions.

With his contract set to end next month, Montpellier chairperson Laurent Nicollin confirmed that the winger is set to leave the club.

According to Kickoff, Mamelodi Sundowns are keen on re-signing him, with Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly also interested in his services.

However, Dolly has previously expressed his desire to remain in Europe … so watch this space!

Keagan Dolly has played 18 matches in total for Bafana Bafana.

Al Ahly are currently on the lookout for a new forward as they plan to get rid of DR Congo international Walter Bwalya who hasn’t impressed since signing from El-Gouna, while Mamelodi Sundowns may have a void if Gaston Sirino does leave for the club – for Al Ahly coincidently.
