Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Arthur Zwane has given an update on who’s available and who’s not for Saturday’s match against Wydad Casablanca.

Amakhosi welcome Wydad in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final tie at the FNB Stadium this weekend.

Kick-off for the crunch encounter is scheduled for 18:00 SA time.

Speaking to the media, Zwane revealed that Khama Billiat is a major doubt for the match against Wydad as he’s slowly coming back to fitness.

Billiat has been sidelined for over almost two months with a fractured leg he aggravated in one of the final matches of the previous season.

“We won’t have, maybe, Khama because he is coming back to fitness, he’s been out for a while now,” said Zwane.

“So we believe in the second leg I don’t think he will be ready to compete at this level,” reiterated Zwane.

Furthermore, Dumisani Zuma is ruled out completely as he’s only expected to be back in action around September.

Zuma suffered a knee injury in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-final clash against Simba SC.

“Zuma is also still out but we will come out with a plan, just like we prepared for this one (the first leg),” Zwane continued.

The good news, though, is that Lebogang Manyama, a hat-trick hero in Amakhosi’s 3-2 win over Golden Arrows earlier this month, is back in contention.

Manyama missed the trip to Casablanca due of a knee injury, but his return will definitely give Chiefs the much-needed firepower upfront.

“Yes, definitely Lebo, he should be ready,” concluded Zwane.
