Pitso Mosimane update: Al Ahly make shocking referee demand to EFA
Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly suffered their second league defeat in four matches on Monday night after going down to Ghazl El-Mahalla.
The Egyptian giants however felt that Pitso Mosimane’s side were undone by shoddy refereeing as opposed to a superior performance by their opponents.
Al Ahly have since made a shocking demand to the Egyptian Football Association for the remainder of the of the season!

Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly make shocking demand to EFA
Al Ahly are demanding that only foreign referees should be allowed to officiate the remaining domestic fixtures Pitso Mosimane’s side are involved in.
“Al Ahly Sporting Club’s board of directors sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association, EFA, calling for the appointment of foreign referees to all our upcoming games.” Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly revealed in a statement as quoted by KingFut.
“In their letter to the EFA, the board clarified Al Ahly will fully take care of the expenses of the foreign referees, as per article 110 of the EFA’s regulations.
“Article 110: If any club requests from the EFA the appointment of foreign referees and the EFA approves, then that club will take care of all the expenses of the referees two weeks prior to the date of the match.
“In case the EFA doesn’t approve the appointment of foreign referees in these controversial games, then Al Ahly will ask the EFA to reveal the truth to the public and explain the reasons behind their disapproval especially that the club (Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly) will take care of the expenses of the referees.
“Article 111: The EFA bears all the expenses of foreign referees during the controversial games, which are decided by the EFA’s board.”
Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly next turn their attention to Al Ittihad who they face in a league clash tomorrow evening. It doesn’t get any easier for them with Zamalek up next followed by back-to-back blockbuster clashes against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.
