“The fortunate part is that we have a very good group, they all work very well as a team and they are vey positive, they are more willing to fight for one another. The only thing we can ask is to stay true to our process because we’ve got our own process, we’re entering the last cycle,” Manqoba Mngqithi told SuperSport TV after the match.

“And we’ve got objectives to achieve in these last give games, we managed to get the result on this one and we’re looking towards the next four and what we get out of it and to be honest, be it we win all four of them it will be good for us.

“It doesn’t matter what happens, we have to make sure that there’s one at least one cycle that we get a crown and possibly this should be the one and the fact that the games have been pushed a little bit backwards gives us the breather in between the [CAF] Champions League matches.

“We must thank the league because in most cases we always complain that our fixtures are not right, this time I think we need to thank the CEO of the league and thank the league for considering that they should pull one more week to give us a chance to have a breather between the Champions League matches.

“For me that is very big, it’s a sign that we’re together in this venture to try and conquer Africa as well.”
