The Kaizer Chiefs team will be coached by Arthur Zwane and will be looking for a win against their bitter rivals which will give them a boost and help them go a long way towards lifting the title.

Despite play resuming this weekend, there isn’t enough time to play a full season of 30 matches following the almost three-month hiatus with the tournament coming to an end next month.

The PSL and the tournament’s sponsors have scrambled to ensure that the youngsters compete for something with the DStv Diski Challenge Rewired born as a result.

The tournament will now be played in a round-robin format of two streams (Stream 1 and Stream 2), consisting of eight teams each stream.

Stream 1 will see AmaZulu, Cape Town City, Chippa United, Lamontville Golden Arrows, Maritzburg United, Stellenbosch, SuperSport United and TS Galaxy FC battling one another.

Stream 2 appears to be the “stream of death” with Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs grouped together alongside Baroka FC, Black Leopards, Bloemfontein Celtic, Swallows FC and Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.

In the streams, each team will face each other once with the top two teams from Stream 1 advancing through to face the top two teams in Stream 2 in one-off semi-finals with the winners meeting in the final to determine the champions.
