Jada Pinkett Smith to Willow: ‘I could see you falling in love with a woman’

Mother-and-daughter duo Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith both revealed that they are sexually attracted to women via Pinkett Smith’s talk show, Red Table Talk, which returned to Facebook Watch on 31 March.

JADA, WILLOW CONFESS ATTRACTION TO WOMEN

The second season of Facebook Watch Series, Red Table Talk featuring the thoughts and opinion of three generations of women started with a bang. Jada Pinkett Smith and daughter Willow Smith revealed that they are both attracted to women in a new episode of the show.

“I could see you falling in love with a woman one day” said Jada Pinkett Smith to daughter Willow.

“I’ve had my fair share of like swooning and feeling like Oh my God, she’s so beautiful. She’s so talented,” replied Willow.

Pinkett Smith openly supported her daughter and related to her feelings saying that there were two times where she has been infatuated with a woman when she was in her twenties. This was to the surprise of Jada’s mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, known as “Gammy”, who said she has never had those feelings before.

“I don’t feel like I’ve been in love with a woman just yet, but I definitely feel like it could happen because I’ve had very strong feelings for women before,” added Willow.

However, Jada also admitted that dating women was not for her.

“I love being among women, but I never could connect to women romantically. But that’s not to say that it couldn’t be that. You just never know,” said Jada.

NIECY NASH ON MARRYING A WOMAN

The episode also featured comedian Nicey Nash who was previously married to two men and then shocked fans last year when she married a woman. However, Nash revealed that before her wife Jessica Betts, she had never been with a woman before. She went on to explain that she had never dated a woman in her life before.

She also mentioned that this was not a coming out type of story but just a story of genderles love. “LGBTQ+ Nicey” she joked. She also stated that all her children were shocked at the news.

“I wasn’t anywhere to come out of. I wasn’t living a sexually repressed life when I was married to men, I just loved them when I loved them. And now I love her,” said Nash on the show.

“[My marriage] has absolutely nothing to do with gender and it has everything to do with her soul,” she added.
