Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the east. It will be hot in places in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Morning fog patches on the escarpment areas, otherwise partly cloudy and warm. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the west spreading to the east by the afternoon and becoming scattered in the south-east.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in extreme northeast where it will be cool.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool along the south coast becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, otherwise fine and warm.
Wind: Wind along the coast: fresh to strong south-easterly but moderate along the south coast.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool with light morning rain along the escarpment and along the coast, clearing in the northern and western interior in the
afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly but light to moderate west of Oyster Bay, becoming southerly mid-morning, spreading east in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool with light morning rain along the escarpment and along the coast, clearing in the northern and western interior in the
afternoon.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly but light to moderate west of Oyster Bay, becoming southerly mid-morning, spreading east in the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Cloudy and warm but cool in the south with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the northeast.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-westerly north of Richards Bay at first otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.
