  1. Extremely high fire conditions are expected over Namakwa District of the Northern Cape as well as the northern parts of the West Coast District and the Drakenstein Municipality of the Western Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the escarpment and Highveld areas, otherwise cloudy at times and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the western Highveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the south and central parts.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon thundershowers.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers but isolated in the south.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the coast where it will be cool, otherwise fine and hot to very hot but partly cloudy in the east and north where isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected but scattered in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy along the south coast in the morning, otherwise Fine and warm to hot but very hot over the interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly but strong along the west coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and warm but fine and hot in the north.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming south-easterly from the afternoon.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Morning fog patches south of the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the extreme north-east.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the interior, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers but scattered in the extreme west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly, but south-easterly north of Durban.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
