  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and northern parts of the Western Cape, central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape as well as the south- western parts of the Free State,

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine in the south west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north-east, otherwise fine and warm to hot but cool over the southern interior.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, but very hot in the north east but cool along the coast becoming partly cloudy.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly becoming southerly along the west coast in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cloudy in places along the northern and central interior in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly becoming fresh to strong easterly in the afternoon, but light south easterly west of Storms River.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be Light north westerly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh north easterly reaching strong in the south in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but cool in places in the south and west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly, but near gale to gale north of Richards Bay until midday.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
