Pitso Mosimane will coach Fak’imali Uzobona FC – Junior Khanye

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye has identified Pitso Mosimane as a possible candidate to coach his newly formed team Fak’imali Uzobona FC in the future.

The shunned Kaizer Chiefs wizard has taken the first steps to forming his own team in his hometown Daveyton and while unearthing gems, Junior Khanye has eyes on the very top of South African football.

Pitso Mosimane who is currently one of the most successful managers in the world has been headhunted by the outspoken former Kaizer Chiefs star.

Mosimane, Al Ahly head coach, completed an incredible double treble in one season after a clean sweep in South Africa with Mamelodi Sundowns before going on to dominate in Egypt.

Junior Khanye has his eyes on Pitso Mosimane

“I will add Pitso Mosimane to the list of the coaches, if given a chance I would like to work with him,” former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye told KickOff.

“Numbers don’t lie my brother. Pitso success in football, it’s there for everyone to see. Just look what he has achieved at Sundowns. Before he came in the club was buying a lot of expensive players but with no results. The first season he saved the club from relegation. The second season he put the team in the top eight and the following season he won the league.

“Look at the number of youngsters, Makgalwa, Mkhuma and Mkhulise, that he helped and gave a platform at Sundowns. What I like most about Pitso Mosimane is the style and culture of football that he played at Sundowns.”

While it’s a long shot for Pitso Mosimane to join a newly formed team, Junior Khanye has ultimately laid down the lofty long-term ambitions of Fak’imali Uzobona FC.
