Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thunderstorms.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated thunderstorms, except in the Lowveld where it will be hot.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thunderstorms over the extreme Western Bushveld.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north-west.

Free State:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the central parts.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine in the west with cool conditions along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the north-east but scattered on the border areas.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy along the south coast with light rain in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool along the coast. It will become fine in the northwest by the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly, but moderate along the south coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extremely high.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, becoming southerly from mid-morning, but moderate south-easterly in the evening.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Cloudy and cool with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the northwest where it will be partly cloudy at first.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, but strong along the Wild Coast in the early morning becoming moderate southerly later in the morning, but moderate south-easterly in the evening.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool, but warm in the north-east. Except in the north-east, isolated showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered in the south-west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly in the north at first, otherwise fresh to strong south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
