- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the western and southern parts of the Northern Cape, as well as the north-western parts of the Western Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool but warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the Western Bushveld where it will be hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the east.
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first, where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and eastern parts, but scattered in the north-east
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, but very hot in the north-east, becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the extreme south-west at first and in the south coast by the evening, otherwise fine and warm but hot
over the north-eastern interior.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to north-westerly along the south coast at first, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Fine in the south-west at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northwesterly in the morning and evening, otherwise light to moderate south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and warm, but cool in the south-west with evening light rain. It will be fine in the north, becoming partly cloudy in
the afternoon, with isolated thunderstorms in the north-east.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, but light and variable along the wild coast becoming light to moderate easterly in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the north-east. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected in the west, otherwise isolated.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be gentle to moderate southerly in the north at first, otherwise moderate easterly to north-easterly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
