Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature:Cloudy in the morning with fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Cloudy in the north-east in the morning, otherwise fine and warm, but hot in the west. It will be partly cloudy over the central parts spreading westwards in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy in the east, otherwise fine and warm, but hot in the west, becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but cool in the north-west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool in the south, else fine and warm to hot.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south to southeasterly becoming strong in the afternoon. It will be fresh southwesterly in the west from afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Partly cloudy in the south in the morning, otherwise fine and warm, but hot in the north west.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate south easterly, becoming fresh in the late morning, but strong by the afternoon.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool in the south with morning and evening fog patches, otherwise fine and warm. Some drizzle can be expected for the coast west of Port St John in the morning and evening.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light south easterly, becoming moderate north easterly in the afternoon, but strong during the evening.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate southerly to south-easterly becoming north easterly in the south by evening
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
