Gauteng:

Temperature: Hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Hot to very hot in the Lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated thundershowers but scattered in the south-west.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot, but very hot in places with isolated thundershowers over the Western Bushveld and the southern parts.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and hot with scattered afternoon thundershowers but isolated in the west.

Free State:

Temperature: Hot in the extreme west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but isolated in the west and south.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot but partly cloudy in the extreme east and south. It will be also partly cloudy along the coast with moderate westerly to north-westerly winds becoming south-westerly by late afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated light rain and showers along the south-west and south coast. Isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected over the Central Karoo.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong westerly to south-westerly but fresh north-westerly along the west and south-west coast in the morning.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cloudy at times and cool along the coast with isolated light rain, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly but light easterly east of Algoa Bay at first.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Cloudy with isolated light rain south of the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be light south-easterly, becoming south-westerly in the evening.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the southern interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the north and west. Scattered afternoon thundershowers are expected.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.
