SuperSport United will be a familiar foe for Hunt who won three of his four league titles with Matsatsantsa having spent six seasons at the club.
In addition, Hunt will also face one of his former understudies in SuperSport United coach Kaitabo Tembo.
“SuperSport have their coach Kaitano Tembo, whom I brought up to be my assistant, so there will be history on that one,” commented Hunt on Chiefs’ website.
“Even after losing two of their key players – Clayton Daniels and Aubrey Modiba – they still have a consistent squad and they have been together for a long time.
“We must just avoid committing crucial mistakes. We are playing against a SuperSport United that has energetic youngsters in their team, they will be a difficult opponent.
“But it’s the same with all the teams that we face in this league. This league is strange; with one win you jump several notches up the log. We just have to win our matches.”
STUTTERING START TO THEIR SEASON
Chiefs have made a stuttering start to their 2020/21 DStv Premiership campaign and lie 12th after six matches with six points.
Those six points were picked up through a single victory and three draws to go along with two defeats.
SuperSport United are fairing a lot better and find themselves in sixth place in the standings with nine points having only played five matches.
Curiously, Matsatsantsa are yet to draw a match this season, having won three and lost two of their matches to date.
The match will be broadcast live on SuperSport channel 202.
