Kick-off time confirmed for delayed Bulls v Pumas clash (if it goes ahead)
The kick-off time for the delayed Super Rugby Unlocked clash between the Bulls and Pumas at Loftus Versfeld has been confirmed.
The match, which was originally scheduled for Friday at 19:30, will now kick off at 14:00 on Saturday.
That’s of course if the match goes ahead at all.
PUMAS FACE ANXIOUS WAIT ON COVID-19 RESULTS
The Pumas still face an anxious wait over the results of a series of Covid-19 tests on their players which will only be known on Friday.
The Bulls will be crowned inaugural Super Rugby Unlocked champions whether the match proceeds or not.
However, it’s in their best interests that it does, as any points picked up during the tournament will be carried forward to next week’s Currie Cup.
The Sharks v Stormers clash in Durban has already been cancelled, with both sides picking up two points.
As a result, the Stormers can do no better than second place in the standings, while the Sharks will finish third regardless of the outcome of the other match this weekend between the Cheetahs and Griquas in Bloemfontein.
Kick-off in the central derby on Saturday is at 16:30.
