New ‘Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Haunting of Verdansk Warzone’ event details
Activision and Infinity Ward officially unveiled details regarding the new Call of Duty: Warzone event. The new Halloween-themed update for Modern Warfare and Warzone will release on 20 October 2020.

Haunting of Verdansk Warzone
The update is a part of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare season six and will run through to November 3. The event introduces loads of new content, like skins based on iconic horror movie characters, new game modes, and rewards.
The update also features crossovers between Saw and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre titles. The Saw bundle features a Billy The Puppet skin, The Phlebotomozier Lethal Equipment as well as Saw-themed blueprints, charms, and more.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre bundle includes items themed after the series, and you can select the Leatherface skin, the Family Heirloom LMG blueprint, and more.

This video carries a Mature 17+ ESRB rating for blood and gore, intense violence, strong langue, suggestive themes and use of drug; it’s not suitable to younger audiences. Sorry, kiddos.
The game will also have a new Trick Or Treat reward system, where specially marked supply boxes either hold scary items or blueprints and personalization items.
Players that collect all 16 individual rewards from the supply boxes will be rewarded with The Pumpkin Punisher assault rifle blueprint. Speaking of weapons the JAK-12, a new automatic shotgun with a fast fire rate will also be available.
It will come with unique attachments like explosive rounds and a 32-round magazine and can be acquired through the in-game challenge, but players can also buy the blueprint, Lacedaemon, in the in-game store.
Availability
A night-time version of Warzone will also be available with a new mode called Zombie Royale, and this mode will allow dead players to return to the game with special abilities and increased speed.
The aim is to fight for the chance to rejoin the game as a human soldier. The update is definitely welcomed in spooky season, making sure that gamers are getting their fill of Spooktober.
