- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Free State, North West, eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the northern interior of the Eastern Cape, the western and central interior of KwaZulu-Natal, the south-western Highveld of Mpumalanga as well as the Western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley of the Limpopo Province.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but very hot in the Lowveld. It will become cloudy in the east by the evening.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but very hot in the Lowveld.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thunderstorms over the central parts.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in the north-east with isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: –
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy along the coast and southern High ground where it will be cold, otherwise fine and cool to warm. It will be hot in the extreme north-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm. It will become cloudy along the south-west coast where isolated showers and rain are expected.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to southwesterly north of Table Bay, otherwise fresh to strong north westerly to westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool but warm in north, becoming cloudy along the coast with isolated showers and rain from late afternoon.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog patches south of escarpment, otherwise fine and warm but cool in places south west. It will become partly cloudy from late afternoon.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot in the north-east. It will become partly cloudy from the afternoon with isolated afternoon thundershowers, except in the south-west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly from the south in the afternoon, spreading northwards.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
