New photos of Princess Charlotte released to mark her fifth birthday [photos]
The UK royal family recently released new photos of Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, delivering food to the vulnerable to mark her fifth birthday.
The photographs, taken by Kate, features Charlotte delivering food parcels to elderly people during the UK’s national lockdown in April.

According to the Kensington Royal social media account, the photos were taken as the family packed and delivered food to isolated pensioners and were released Friday ahead of her fifth birthday on Saturday, 2 May 2020.
According to CNN, the photos were taken on the Sandringham Estate, the Queen’s country estate in rural Norfolk, north of London.
In one image Charlotte, fourth in line to the throne, can be seen approaching a front door clutching a bag of pasta.
The photos are just one of many taken by Kate, whose photographs of her children are regularly posted to royal social media channels. Just last week, several photos shared by Kensington Palace on Instagram and Twitter showed Prince Louis with rainbow-coloured paint on his hands to mark his second birthday.
Princess Charlotte was last seen clapping for the UK healthcare workers alongside her siblings outside Anmer Hall.

A royal lockdown
It was also reported that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spoke to the BBC earlier in March about what it’s like to have all three kids at home full-time while schools are closed.
“Yeah, homeschooling is fun,” William said with a laugh. “But don’t tell the children we’ve actually kept it going through the holidays,” Kate added, referring to school holidays in the UK. “I feel very mean.”
“The children have got such stamina, I don’t know how, honestly,” she said. “You get to the end of the day, you write down all the list of the things you’ve done in that day. You sort of pitch a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake, you get to the end of the day, they’ve had a lovely time, but it is amazing how much you can cram into one day, that’s for sure.”
