Just for kids: Orange and pineapple fruit punch

Let’s face it. Few children consistently meet the recommended intake of fruits and vegetables. Therefore I think a fruit punch is a creative way of giving them the nutrients they need for the growing little bodies. And because it’s on the sweet side, even the pickiest of children will definitely enjoy it.

We definitely cannot deny that when ever parents are drinking their adult drinks, kids feel left out. And am certain kids are now tired of drinking the same  juice every day. Here is an appetizing fruit punch for kids, and even better, it is a healthier alternative to fizzy drinks.

Health benefits of fruit punch

This fruit punch is made of oranges, pineapple, apple and ginger ale. Oranges are a great source of vitamin C which  boosts a person’s immunity to everyday viruses and infections such as the common cold.

Pineapple is packed with nutrients, antioxidants and other helpful compounds, such as enzymes that can fight inflammation and disease. Research shows that children who ate pineapples had a significantly lower risk of both viral and bacterial infections.

Apples contain vitamin C as well as many other antioxidants. And they are also a good source of fiber. They’re an exceptionally healthy fruit. And as we all know, an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.
