Limpopo weather: No rainfall, thunderstorm expected this weekend

Limpopo inherited the wet and stormy weather that has gripped KwaZulu-Natal but it seems that things are expected to return to normal in the province this weekend.

The South African Weather Services had placed central parts of Limpopo on ‘severe thundertorm watch’, on Thursday, after torrential conditions were observed between 11:00 and 20:00.

However, on Friday, things have slightly improved and if the meteorologists are correct, Limpopo may be in for a dry and warm weekend.

This is your Limpopo weather forecast observed between Friday, 15 November, and Sunday, 17 November.

Limpopo weekend weather: This is the forecast for Friday, 15 November to Sunday, 17 November

As the wet weather that fell down in most parts of Limpopo dissipates, some areas are expected to have scattered rainfall, on Friday.

While temperature levels in places like Thohoyandou, Thabazimbi and Tzaneen are expected to peak beyond the 30°C mark, thunderstorms are still expected.

Saturday

As we move towards Saturday, 16 November and the torrential conditions steer further inland into neighbouring countries, dry and warm weather will most likely return to Limpopo.

Partly cloudy conditions, with as much as 50% visibility, are expected in areas like Polokwane, Nelspruit and Barbeton. However, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 25°C and 29°C, usheed forth by a calm south-easterly breeze.
