Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and cool but partly cloudy in the north.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy and cold to cool with morning drizzle and fog patches over the escarpment where it will be very cold in places, becoming partly cloudy from the west in the afternoon.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy and cool to cold with morning drizzle and fog patches over the escarpment, becoming partly cloudy in the southwest later in the afternoon.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cold to cool.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and cold.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cold to cool.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fog patches in places along the west and southern coastal regions with frost over the interior, otherwise fine and cold to cool.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south easterly north of Cape Columbine, otherwise, moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly becoming strong between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas from the afternoon but light south-easterly east of Still Bay from midday.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Fine and cool, but cold in places over the interior. Frost is expected over the high lying areas in the morning, with severe frost in places.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light northwesterly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly eastwards of Algoa Bay in the afternoon, but light southwesterly in the west becoming light easterly in the evening.

The Eastern half Temperature: Fine and cool, but cold in places over the interior. Frost is expected over the high lying areas in the morning, with severe frost in places.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be light northwesterly, becoming light northeasterly late morning, but moderate to fresh in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north-east with isolated morning showers along the north-coast, otherwise fine and cool but cold in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh southerly to south-westerly, moderating towards midday. It will becoming moderate easterly to north-easterly from the south in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
