WHAT DO THE EXPERTS SAY?
London-based dermatologist Derrick Phillips said taking a shower once a day may not be absolutely necessary every day for your health. Phillips also mentions that the skin is self-cleaning and exfoliates naturally.
“Washing once a day is adequate for most children and adults to maintain a socially acceptable level of personal hygiene and cleanliness.”
He continues to say, “[Showering every day] isn’t necessary, but I also don’t think it’s harmful to our skin as is being reported widely in the media lately.”
