Radiopane, still only 18-year-old, earned his call-up after his impressive showing in last season’s DStv Diski Challenge competition where he scored five goals and was nominated as one of the Player’s of the Tournament.
In an interview with PiratesTV, Radiopane said he was warmly welcomed by the first team members and realised it was a very special moment in his fledgling career.

“The welcome was warm, it was fantastic. I literally couldn’t have asked for more,” Radiopane said.
“Here in the first team, there are guys who have a lot of experience, so, for me, with the [reserves] and the first team, it’s all about [getting that] experience. Obviously, as an individual, I want to achieve more and more and more.
“Being in this team is something special but I am hoping to gain more experience with the guys and with my focus and determination, I think everything is possible.”
