Kaizer Chiefs to unveil ONE more signing this week?

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to unveil at least one more signing this week following the conclusion of their 2020-21 season.

Over a week ago, Austin Dube all but confirmed his move to Chiefs, while reports suggested that he would move to Naturena after the Cosafa Cup.

Now, with the Cosafa Cup tournament done and dusted, Dube is expected to complete his move to Chiefs this week.

However, the 28-year-old defender would have to wait at least until next week Monday to start training with Chiefs.

This is because Chiefs players are likely to be given some time off this week to spend some time with their families before returning for pre-season.

It will be Amakhosi’s shortest pre-season as the season is set to get underway in mid-August, but that’s because they had the CAF Champions League final to play.

Furthermore, Chiefs already have the Carling Black Label Cup match against Orlando Pirates to prepare for.

The annual match is scheduled for 1 August at Orlando Stadium.

Dube would be joined by Bafana Bafana teammates Njabulo Ngcobo and Kgaogelo Sekgota who were also taking part in the Cosafa Cup tournament.

Meanwhile, Sibusiso Mabiliso will link up with his new teammates after the Tokyo Olympics – and that’s likely to be at the end of July or the first week of August.
