Swallows FC striker Ruzaigh Gamildien was heavily linked with a move to Chiefs for months after scoring goals for fun last term.

At some point, Gamildien was reported to have already signed a two-year deal with Chiefs by some publications while others claimed he had been given a one-year deal.

However, the proposed deal failed to materialize after Chiefs’ decision to pull out for unknown reasons as confirmed by Swallows CEO Sipho Xulu last week.

Now, Gamildien, himself, has spoken about the failed move, saying he has no issues with the fact that Chiefs decide not to go ahead with the proposed deal.

“There are no hard feelings,” added the Bafana Bafana international.

Gamildien, 32, said while every player would be excited at the prospect of playing for a team like Chiefs, such things do happen in football where a team decides to pull out of a deal.
