IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:

  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Richersveld and Kamiesberg municipalities in the
    Northern Cape.

ADVISORIES:

  1. A Heat Wave with persistently high temperatures is expected in Richersveld Municipality Northern Cape from today
    until Sunday.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Morning fog patches, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog patches in the east and southern Highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool but
warm in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy with morning fog patches in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in the
north-east from the afternoon.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cold to cool, becoming partly cloudy in the
east and central parts by the afternoon

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but cold over the southern high ground.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly reaching strong in places in the
morning.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Fog patches over the southern interior at first otherwise fine and cool.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light northerly becoming north easterly at times.

The Eastern half Temperature: Cloudy in places with fog patches along the escarpment at first otherwise fine and cool.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog over the interior and light rain along the north coast, otherwise cloudy and cool becoming partly cloudy
in the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate south-easterly north of Durban at first, otherwise moderate to fresh northeasterly

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
