Kaizer Chiefs are an average team when compared to nine-time CAF Champions League winners and defending champions Al Ahly.

That’s according to Egypt legend Ahmed Hassan who was speaking on the back of Al Ahly’s 4-0 aggregate win over Esperance de Tunis this past weekend.
Chiefs and Al Ahly will battle it out in the CAF Champions League League final in Casablanca on 17 July.

And Hassan feels Chiefs are a no-match for the Red Devils of Cairo.
“Kaizer Chiefs is an average team compared to Al Ahly,” said Hassan to Online TV as per Kingfut.

Hassan watched the two-legged semi-final clash between Chiefs and Wydad Casablanca, and he feels the Moroccan giants dominated possession in the two matches against the Soweto giants.
However, the 46-year-old admitted Al Ahly will have to double their efforts in order to beat Chiefs, and win their 10th CAF Champions League title.

“Wydad dominated possession in the two matches but Al Ahly need to make a lot of effort to win the tenth title,” added Hassan.
