The Springbok veteran played 88 Tests in the green and gold of South Africa and has scored 135 points in those matches.

He discussed how his passion and drive for the game is still alive and well.

“As long as I have that and still have the enjoyment factor, I will go as long as I possibly can,” said Ruan Pienaar.

He emphasised that he will play as long as he is still in form.

“Of course, you want to add value and still feel like when you play on a Saturday you are the best in your position. As long as I’ve got those things in place and I still enjoy it, then hopefully I can carry on playing a little bit longer,” he added.
