Morrison ruled out of Kaizer Chiefs clash

Morrison is no stranger to South African football after having spent two years at Kaizer Chiefs’ rivals Orlando Pirates between 2016 and 2018 and his experience will definitely be missed.

Apart from Morrison’s exclusion, Simba have a clean bill of health and will be going toe-to-toe with all of their key players including early CAF Champions League Player of the Tournament nominee Luis Miquissone.

“We have left for South Africa minus Bernard Morrison because he does not have his paperwork ready to travel, his Visa was yet to arrive and we cannot wait for him,” Simba manager Patrick Rweyemamu told Goal ahead of his side’s clash against Kaizer Chiefs.

“The club is still working on his paperwork and when they are ready, he will then join us in South Africa, we are confident his paperwork will be done in time for the match on Saturday.”
